SP isn't much to write home about, MP can be a laugh, but the netcode is _so_ wank it makes HL look good (since this is done by sierra, that was probably the plan)

The HL netcode is good though.

In a LAN environment, it has the potential to be the best multiplayer game in existence, bar none.

Other than that, it's fairly shite.

The multiplayer net-code is now much better since the 1096 patch.
However, you can't really play it online in the UK, cos no-one will host a server here, therefore all the pings are naff.
A number of us have asked BW for servers several times, we just get ignored.
