average ranger bow damage?

hello,
just wondering how much damage other lvl 50 rangers do with bow in RvR against yellow enemies in average.

i do around 200 to 300 in average per shot. seems pretty low compared to alb scouts, which seem to do 400 in average (aussie hit me for 875 once, but that doesnt count i guess

Always nice to hear about Aussie getting killed.

My average damage with a 99% Quality Duskwood short is 150-220 per shot rising to 300-350 with Crits. Add to that PBT and you can expect miss, miss, miss, miss.

Damage has been steadily nerfed for along time, so much so I spend more time in melee than using bow in RvR now!

About the same. Don't forget that albs on Excalibur have a 20% bonus at the moment, so it's normal that scouts are hitting us harder.

I can do some nice 1 shot crits for 1100+ (cloth) now but

forced to use shortbows to get past PBT (or u will miss 100% of time with recurse and heaver bows) so damage is feeble and archers are ruined..

dont piss about as a ranger, go for quick fast sharp shots on anything wearing cloth. leave the rest to that big fucker with the spear
