Confused Average price?

My brain doesn't work! I know how to work out the average of something but it doesn't seem to work with prices. SO here it is. I have a set of 4 prices and I need to figure out the average. I have 4 answers to choose from so I can make a guesstimate based on it being in the middle of the price range but I'll need to know for future reference.

Why would a price be any different to a number? Add them up and divide by 4 mate

im guessing its a marketing scam that isnt actually average but some legal meaning that everyone doesnt know about lol

I'm not sure what mode your brain is running in but it could mean you need immedianate medical attention.
