Avatar problems... Offtopic a bit.

I'm trying to get my avatar to work - now I know you need a certain amount of posts before you can access the avatar bit of your options, and I seem to be able to.

I've created a small jpg and I can't seem to be able to get it working. No matter wether I upload it to my webspace or use the upload jobbie, it's doesn't seem to work. I either get bugger all (It looks like it's worked) or an error message saying it's not a valid image.

Any ideas anyone?

im havin probs with my account, one second i was posting, the next refresh it had been de-activated and i cant see the smiley list anymore either

It's knacked - I tried to change my avatar recently and it just deleted the old one
