Avatar bug

[Perplex]

Seems the recent upgrade has borked the avatar changing process (for me at least).

I get a message saying "Thanks for changing your avatar!" or something, but it doesn't actually change - anyone else getting the same or is it just me?

Hmm... I get...

The uploaded file is not a valid GIF or JPG file. Please ensure that it is and try again.

... even though I'm trying to upload (two) avatars I've used before. :/

That and the 'You are now being taken to your post' page has returned. (Repeating in case DBs reads this.)
