Autotraining

If you respec the thing that autotrained, do the points you have gained in it thus far come back to you? Does anyone know for sure?

For example if you used a respec stone that respeced all abilities including the one you autotrained, would you get it back, cause i was told by someone who autotrained that they would once again be lost, but i need confirmation please

You lose any points auto trained.
Respeccing from crush to thrust/slash on an armsman would give you additional points because crush does not autotrain while thrust does.
Respeccing from thrust to crush would mean that you lose out on some spec points. Respeccing form thrust to slash would mean you lose or gain no points.

Non-autotrainable skill > Autotrainable skill = Gain some points.
Autotrainable skill > Non-autotrainable skill = Lose some points.
Autotrainable skill > Autotrainable skill = Nothing gained/lost.
