Autotraining and respeccing

Simple question about autotraining since I'm too lazy atm checking it up

Autotraining to 48 to get 12 points in stealth and extra 77 points to spend...
I recall some problems with respeccing way back in time, like you autotrained back to minimum level stealth (12) and those autotrained points got lost when respeccing...

Did they change that or ?
See lot of infil specs and respeccing along the way from rr1 to rr5. Must be alot of single line respeccs available on alb unless they changed it

If you spec stealth higher than the auto training and then respec the line you will get your auto training.

I know there was issues way back in time with this, but guess I'll believe you for now

But if you always keep the autotrained stealth, can you pick up on it later on ?
Say auto training to lvl 24 and getting 6 stealth, then specc some stealth for thid, and after that respecc back stealth to lvl 6 ? Will it keep autotraining then ?
Just want to be sure
