Plightstar. You mod your car, you will look like a knob. People will stop in the streets, turning their heads with amazement that anybody could drive such a pile of crap that your car will almost certainly become. Your friends will shun you. The police will stop you at every opportunity. You will start buying tracksuits, and spawn 6 kids. You will waste loads of money on a pile of crap that nobody will ever buy off you.

Save your money. Buy a better car to begin with.

I implore you to stop now.

I know your right. I've kinda changed my mind over the last few minutes, mainly because it wouldn't look good and I think i'll save up for a new car instead, I love my Golf at the Mo (its my first car) I'll wait till I've paid the loan and look at something else anybody got any suggestions?

Plight, if you like Golfs, try and find yourself an original MK1 GTi, they're the dogs bollocks, quite rare, and you'll get a fair bit of respect. Resale value will be excellent as well.

Also have a look around at classic cars if you're into that kind of thing, Triumph STAGs, MGs etc. Not much performace, but they don't half look different (and nice when chromed up).

Stay well clear of any novas, saxos, fiestas, fiats, any of that shite.

Good advice, always like the classics myself never been into novas, saxos, fiestas, fiats etc.. Wouldn't mind a MG the old style with racing green not the new ones. Either that or a 1967 Shelpy Ford Mustang very expensive very nice.

When you get on MTV's "Pimp Your Ride" with our friendly neighbourhood rapper Xzibit, remember to scream like a 13 year old high school girl who has just seen her first weener and realised its meant to be shoved up her candy hole.

I've got a Mk3 Golf GTi 16v and it dicks on most cars on the road in a straight line thrash. Except the Integrale I picked on yesterday. It was a bit quicker than me :D

O.K but if only if the guy that burned me off last night lets me borrow his Integrale.
