ciclya was the one who deserved it on that raid if i remembered clearly.
Why lotto for a staff that u won't fit.
i know u might have specced many body skill, but just for example: a pbt theurgist lotto for a Staff of earth and fire?
or a thrust merc lotto for a thruster weapon with stealth?

50 body is never the case as people get points at half dings from 40 to 50, so they can spec a 2nd line, like the mind line.

...which makes it even worse, because even if the sorc is full body, he´ll end up with a second line and would not be able/allowed to lotto for a multiple focus staff.

I think the point is that the 2nd focus is Spirit which a Sorc doesn't have. If it was Body/Matter there'd be no argument

Yes but a MP staff wouldn't have a glow or, if you are a sorcerer, a totally redundant focus line.

I sold my matter/body staff when I went spirit/body for 1 plat. Which is a reasonable price for the amount of cabbies in the game. If a cabbie wants this staff, it's easier, cheaper and prolly faster to go allong 4 sidi raids and win one.

the body spirit staff was lotto from a sidi raid like every1 else

like every1 else i went through the 3-5 hours killing mods in sidi for the right to lotto..

lady luck was smilling at me and i won the staff..( f/o if u roll /random 100 less then me, not my fault)

won the staff and f/o to emin happy

a week later, i brought a body/mind staff with my own cash making this body spirit staff redudent in my vault...

want to sell this staff for money i laid out for the new staff

yes..at that time my sorc was not sc'ed and im body specced with a staff with 47 body focus....am i greedy?

make ur own mind up...do i go spent 3-5 hours every fuking week in sidi just to kill mobs for 50 billion exp? im 1 of these players that actually sit infront of my screen the whole raid casting and not go afk so i can put hands on my heart and say i earned my right to lotto..

the staff is (read this) usable for caba and sorc...it has 50 body 50 spirit focus..dont blame me for spending 5 hours killing mobs and then roll 70 and other roll 69s...dont blame me for lottoing the staff..blame mythic for making the staff usable for sorc (i have every fuking rights as other sorcs and cabas to roll)..

what if a mind / spirit staff (dont know if such staff exists actually)dropped? do u all go bitch the sorc that won the staff? or do u all go bitch the caba that may win it? it cut both ways..i have seen ppl winning and lottoing for the same items week in week out..i dont go round bitching them on bw and whine, i ll report them to the organiser..not my problem..if he or she can cheat their way out, good for them..

as for the staff..i won it fair and squre, it's mine, i can keep it in vault, drop it on floor, give it away..its entirely up to me..as in this matter, i would like to sell it for some of the money i laid out for the new staff i brought in place of this.. it was never the intention to lotto the staff and sell it on to make gold whether u like it or not..

imo ... there is no point going to a sidi raid =>
why? becuase they are not givven to the persons that needs them the most ... or that have the most use of them tbh ;-)

Realm ranks have no bearings on the lottos i.e .... that would be the same as saying "those that don't need them... or play their chars regulary in RvR thus having use for them" is getting the same chance of winning it ... as a level 45 char that will not use it.

So let sst sell it if he wants. Maybe he needed it at the time he won it .. still, imo only a very few charactars have gotten a sidi item that they were actually worth.

1 hour after previos raid .. i got offered to buy Sacristan Cowards Belt.... so .. let him sell his sidi stuff if he wants to, it's basically the wrong persons getting them in the lottows 9/10 times anyway.

Well tbh the fact that peeps go sell off their sidi stuff can't really piss someone off can it? Its a source of income as any other damn thing in this game..
Its wether they should be allowed to lo2 for the damn thing that is the core of this aint it?
For instance that damn spanish infil who tried to lo2 for the +parry thruster, should be clear to anyone that even though its a thrust weap it shouldnt go to an infil, hence the +parry!
And as for u d00ds who argued over that thrust sword going to an armsman with max pole, well we all know that having good pole dmg also requires good thrust/slash/(crush!!). So why shouldnt he be able to get it? He has parry. He can use it to its full potential, and that my dear friends is the core.. U should be able to use the weap, armor, jewelry whatever to its full potential. And this leads me to the conclusion, u dont have both focus's, well then u shouldnt be able to lo2 for it!
So sorc who dont have spirit, whtý the hell lo2 for it? it makes absolutely no sence to me. And yeah go on with "uhm the mythic guys decided it should be caba/sorc usable!!" So? Nothing wrong with using ones mind? and setting aside the greed ?
Just some sense peeps, should be something u all can handle?

and surely it can happen that you respecced and your last week sidi-drop doesn't fit your spec anymore. But how selfish are you to start selling em for these ridiculous prices?!

Show some sense... and give it to someone you know who attended that raid as well that could really use the staff.

Exactly what I said on the raid. SSt is in my guild and rolled for it with her/his sorc. She made the highest roll, a matter/body cab made the 2nd highest roll. Those cabs also use spirit and body so they can use it. All is it only for pet recycling.

The those dual sidi focus staffs have int and power, power is kinda useless, if it has a focus you dont use on it, it's really useless.
My spec is the exact spec which would use that staff to it's full potential, and even then I didnt really care that I lost it. The glow is the only good thing about it.

I asked nicely if I could have the staff, as she isn't going to use it anyway. But she needed to have it to get some of the money back the paid for her current sidi staff. I understand that, but it's not my problem she got ripped off in the first place.

She is never going to sell it for this price and really not because in my view she got it in an unfair way.

Focus levels are the same as +skills in my opinion.

You Shouldn't Be Allowed to Lotto for a Staff of body and Spirit as u don't have spirit skill for the focus, so u can't fully use the staff. And u selling this staff now that shows enough that you knew this staff woulnd't fit you.
NO excuse, falcor might be too tired at that time, but acording to all sidi raid he lead, You couldn't lotto for this staff

this "need before greed" idea started when the first item went to "wrong" person (not to you) and the jealousy/whining started. Why this, why that...oh plz STFU! In reality there is no such thing, and ppl saying otherwise know very little about human nature. Example: why collect plat after plat, when you have all equipment, items rdy? After all, the purpose should be to make every player in albion the best that they can be? So give your cash to the next player, no !? THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ENOUGH - we always want more!

Ok, so we dont give a caster staff to a Armsman, but if a caracter has the slightest use for the item, he/she should be able to lotto for it. After 5 hours, imo, it's this persons right. And the ppl who /roll less should accept and hope for better luck in next raid.`"the need before greed" should not be enforced upon a player, it should be his/her choice to understand, and give/sell item to other player if he can use it better.
