Can u shoot while someone is attacking u in melee ?

Just wondering if thats possible.
If there is some RA that allow it or something.

Example.

1. Archer fires a few arrows on you.

2. You charge and start hitting archer. At that point the archer have already began aiming at you, so that arrow is also fired.

3. After that when you are still hitting the archer, you always interupt the archers aiming. So archer must continue with melee.

Did that make any sense?

If archer is skilled and specced 42 shield. He can slam (8 sec stunn) you and maybe get one more arrow shot off.

i aint a scout but i have played one in bg's "not much difference when it comes to what u ask" and in my exp if you have ALREADY loaded a bow and get melee'd it WILL fire .

If NO arrow is loaded or you are in straight combat with a scout he CAN stun with shield load bow and shoot

if scout has s/s equiped or is NOT drawing his bow at all and is attacked he can NOT draw and fire his bow . it will keep saying you were interupted .

IF a scout has MAXED attack speed with ra's and is using a fast bow . MAYBE he will be able to shoot you if your a char with a slow ass weapon "spearo / polearm" basicly any 2 hand weapon char . then it might be possible but the scouts timing of drawing bow would need to be prescise . "i had considered rolling a new scout and trying this to TRY get my draw time to 1.5-2 seconds hence with slow weapon users who have a 3-4 second attack speed i may be able to get arrows off between his attacks " i aint done any proper math with it though to see if its possible"

but if non of the above is it and he drew his bow and ws shooting you WHILST you were in melee with him only thing i could think of is LAG? or maybe he using some sort of hack , cos afaik there is no mastery of concentration with a scout for his bow .

You won't be able to slip off bowshots in between hits because of mythics interrupt code. If that were possible then a caster could DD a 2 handed user np. Typical 2 handers are 5-6 secs, typical DD is 2-2.5 secs.

its so nice that it interupts even when they havent attacked you. i remember mezzing 2 hibs, killing of the ranger, then starting runsong to get away.. mez wears off and even though he is far far away he still interupts me :/

well i have quick fingers, so when you see the msg

"absorbed by magical barrier " (or whatever it is =p )

I have already pressed to shoot you again. sometimes i'm quick enough to do it before the arrow landed on target.

knowing there is a 3-4 sec (scout draw time) delay on arrows, you can run for that amount of time , you'll still get hit.

so after i shot Critical Shot i have already clicked for next one and at that time you're still in sight.
so better loose target when you see absorb by magical barrier coz you're dead when you keep nuking your target ^^

If someone is attacking you and you aint already drawn, you cant shoot no matter if they hit, miss, absorb or whatever. Heard a few reported cases of this aussie, even one nightshade caught you stealthed, and as he was hitting you, you hit 2 crit shots!!

if thats true - wtf is up with that? lol

I have yet to test this out, but it seems that you _can_ actually shoot through misses (I favor not chancing it, simply slamming and killing).

u can shoot when some1 is hitting u. well if he miss u and u wait 1-2 sec to draw, u will get the bow loaded and rdy to fire. this only requirer a fast draw time ( 2 - low 3 sec). if u draw right after swing u will get an interupt msg.
