So who's got one and are they any good for DVD's / Games / MP3'a etc?

Got, and I like! The DVD's are great you can put a theatre effect over it using EAX. Sound's ficken brill!!!! Games? Not much of an improvement... UNLESS it supports EAX then you are entering a world of fear!!!

Got the platinum which is useful for my Mini-discs. and the firewire port, which I plan to use for a 400MB LAN
Comes with a remote to, useful for DVD's as you can control them while sitting away!

If you are just into games, and ones that don't support EAX then I can't really see any advantage...... ANYONE???

my SBLive comes with presets that let you apply EAX over some games, it comes with presets for some older ones - Audigy prolly has the same.

Quite amusing playing Age of Empires with the Starcraft EAX mode... all of a sudden stone throwers sound less weedy

Its good but WinDVD seems to have a problem with the dolby sound.

er? What the fuck are you talking about? I inferred that spending 180 quid on an Audigy wasnt worth the gains I'd get over my Live! due to the fact that I only play mp3's on my PC. Which I think most people understood. Yet you somehow managed to read that as me thinking that My Live! was better than an Audigy? Christ you're even more retarded than I thought.
