audigy 2 plat cracklin a bit

Ok I have had the audigy 2 platinum working since I got it last week. Now today I install the internet explorer 6 patch which I could be problem...dont know how but have only done two things that couldve cause the problem. The other thing is I had my guitar plugged into the line in 2 and was recording in wavelab lite. Started noticing crackling while playing guitar in that program. But hadnt really played anything since I restarted for the internet explorer patch. I know its something with the audigy and not speakers. Cause I have same problem with digital, analog, and headphones. And again it worked fine up til now. But now I hear some crackling and some glitches in the audio. I thought I would try to do a system restore to yesterday but it came up incomplete. So I tried another date and it still wouldnt restore. So I dont know but if it helps

I had an Audigy 2 and took it back in the end since I too suffered some sound problems, I also suffered some application problems which really pissed me off.

Have you installed the latest Intel Chipset Utility driver?
