Nice attitude from the lvl50's, I'm a lvl32 SB, sat ontop of the Bledmeer keep wall, doing my bit for the realm, spying etc. Now, I'm in a new guild we have no alliance chat etc, and know very few people, sooo, the only way to contact was a /who odin and /send to some lvl50's (who i figured would like some info) as it looked like a re-take was in order. what do i get in reply? ..... silence..several times, even asking if they wanted a enemy reports was greeted with...yup..silence..a simple "No" would have done.
I'm guessing it's a level thing..being only lvl32 I cant count or something, or replying will be beneath them.
FFS people, they are plenty of guys eager to help, at least show them some courtesy.

Maybe you cought them at a bad time.

In RvR it is not unlikely that people have alliance chat, chat group, guild chat, officer chat and goup chat to keep and eye on, as well as private sends and on top of that - fighting enemies.
In that "spam-festival" it can be difficult to see all messages comming to you.
I doubt it has anything to do with level - sure there are some tossers, but that is nothing to do with level.

A level 50 can be just as rude as a level 32 and vice versa.

Trust me, it's kinda annoying when you're talking to a guy and you press R to reply and suddenly just before you pressed R you got msg from another guy and now have to do the full work of typing /send xxxxx. It's not that much work, it's just annoying, especially when it happens over and over.

Many highlvls ignores lower lvls, trust me i played with my bro's account and didnt get the same response as i usually does. But, there will always be nice ppl who tries to answer in a gentle tone

lots of high lvl ignorant people . i have scouted in emain spotting enemys plenty of times and have ,messaged higherlvl albs i know are in emain to tell them of the location of mids/hibs ,ie the mill , then i see that persons group run upto the enemy kill them . and i didnt get a ty or any reply at all . they just run up kill mid/hib and run off again and look for more . also on raids . if ive made a suggestion or raised alert of inc enemy very rarely do i get a reply . example of this is when a load of mids took renaris last week .i was omw to scout excaliber to check for inc cos renaris had been taken a hr or so earlier . as soon as i left the other side of suvage castle i see a large group of middys 10-20 of em . and they killed me . obviously my imidiate thoughts were "excaliber is being raided and those middys are there to stop reinforcements comming to excaliber to defend . so i do a /who <well known guilds> looking for people who are well known to iform them of my sighting and fears . i messaged 6 people from different prominant guilds and ONLY 2of them replied . those were kulthas and exiled . the others whom i wont mention didnt even say ok or ty . but 10-15 mins later when that group of mids by suvage got killed i saw the people i messaged . to me this is just ignorance and the sort of elitism that a lot of players dont like .,, it seems in albion if your not a well known lvl 50 nobody listens tyo you . btw this is not a gerneraliseation of all albs or lvl 50's . but it is true alot of high lvls are very ignorant to lower lvls .

sorry i think thats just a exscuse high lvls might make . whe somebody see's the color of a private message wetheritbe in a flooded chator not they will scroll up and read message cos it might be important .and it only takes 2 seconds to type /r Ty

Well I know I'm not high level - so I don't know if I fit your ealier generalisation about being arrogant when I accidently overlook a message in the heat of battle.
I can and will happen.

And as I said yes - there are some tosser, but these aren't level dependent - there are just as many idiots at the others levels as there are of the level. 50s - have been "abused more" by lower levels then I have from level 50s.

a huge number of lvl 50s are ignorant bastards, and I have no idea why. Some of them even responded at lvl 49, but not anymore =)

You cannot, however, say that every lvl 50 acts like that...and when I get to 50, I will certainly NOT be like that >=)
Can't see a reason for it.

its true, there is a certain amount of level based arrogance.

being an advisor on midgard i always (no always) answer newer player questions about class and game mechanics, no matter what the situation, a simple quick.

is enuff to keep the questioner happy while you sort out any aggro, attacks, RvR.

i as a level 42 have suffered the ignorant arrogant wall of silence from high level characters who wont even answer a simple request or suggestion, simply offering a wall of silence.

The fact still remains that in the long term, we are all gonna get to level 50, time permitting, and it in no way reflects on a players skill in this game. there are so many n00b level 50s its untrue.

this is after all a social team based game, so come on guys, get those fingers tippety tapping, to help you here are a number of useful responses.

I'm a fellow member of this guild. I was in Odin's Gate with Grymshadow that night when Bledmeer was taken. Don't assume that because we're in a new guild means that we're new players.

I have had responses from higher levels, but for the most part, those that are level 50 don't respond at all. Period. We were grouped with a very well-known level 50 who needed a speed boost. Being a runey, I offered. Barely got a few words from him at all during the run between Yggdra and Odin's, and he dropped group without so much as a /g ty. Now, is that losing everything in spam? I suppose my lowly level 23 ass didn't warrant consideration.

Come on, folks, a little consideration isn't a bad thing. Especially as he was sat on the wall looking directly into the central keep, feeding info back on how many defenders there were. And what the elven maidens were wearing.

I mostly agree with the lack of respect for other players.
I try to reply to all as much as I can unless it is some chain begger who send : Gold please!, or give me your hammer blabla
But ofcourse im not 50 yet , still got some lvls to go.. :/
But it may happen that you are in a middle of a fight and have 2 or 3 mezzed mobs drowling ower you while fighting, and you need to stay focused on the task. And you simply forget to reply when you are resting, and the puller starts a new fight.

Also alot of people dont know that you can filter what to be seen in chat window by rightklicking the chat tab, therefor if one is using the Friends tab or group tab. the send message maybe not shows. I know alot of lvl 40 + who have no clue about that option.

So feel free to drop me a line if something important happens in the front, I will gladly spam it in our alliance channel.

When I get a pm in game and I am bussy I will often try to get out a "hold on " message back. Or failing that at a quite moment scroll back and see if its still then read it. It may take sometime but I do put in the effort to try and respond to others.
