Attaining patches from other sites?

well i recently reinstalled daoc and have to go trough the useless autopatcher and all its bugs at the staggaring speed of 5k (i rarely get anything less than 300k) so i was just wondering is there no other way? or some way you can save the patchfiles and save them for next time i have to do this?

I heard just copying you're entire daoc dir works as well as reinstalling it from cd + getting the patch of the server.

Might be wrong however.

Does anyone has any experience with this?

yup it does work, had to do it a lot when i got some bug the other month heh

Guess i'm just lucky, I re-installed daoc, and downloaded the patch all at once, first attempt....and at a nice speed of about 40kb/s
