How to do it?

My experience is that if albs/hibs are in a keep, it`s virtually impossible to take it. But the other way around, well, we mids get owned. At least that`s my experience with it, not just based on the recent loss of Crim.

I feel that mids are more useful defending in front of the keep. Once again, my experience so far. Not sure if that`s true or not, or if I`ve just been in bad luck the other times when we`ve tried to defend from inside.

Mids suck at keep grabbing/defending? We lack spells?

Use tactics!

Sorry, yes, you do lack pbaoe spells that help immensely to keep people away from the doors..

You just need a tactic that wipes a large amount of the enemy at the gates.. drain mana of the healers/ressers.. make them tired of fighting..

Harder for mid, maybe, but never impossible.. I remember runemasters at a particular keepraid being particularly efficient at wiping out an engaging force.

Well, so far I must say that for some reason it seems easier to defend relic keeps. Not sure why, but the invaders doesn`t seem to notice you as fast, gives me more time to cast those ae nukes. But when it comes to small keeps, I get nuked dead before I knew what hit me.

We had 4 RMs I think at Crim last night for example, and we dropped like flies.

So Gunnar, RMs & Thanes is NOT the right answer. Maybe part of it, but...

midgard can t exploit a guard spawn with solid aoe mez, because some n00b thane drops his hammers on all the mezzed for 2x damage.

hibernia has deadly pbaoes, which albion might have from icewizzies, if there were others than stekeltje.^^

albion has the terrible stalling pbaoe mez...

and of course hibs and albs know how to repair doors.

Zold is another ice wiz.
I thought shamans had a PBAE? Or was it something crap like a PBAE disease. Is that even this patch? I'll go away now.

In the patch we can AoE nuke doors so we can keep pbaoe's away from them who are defending

AE DOT on door and u can forget about PBAE for 20-25 sec

Ehm you don't have to stand 1 mtr from door to repair it. I've tried to see how far it can and I was really surprised that you can stand pretty far away from door to repair it... But what I frankly don't understand is how are we ever gonna take a keep if people keep repairing the door...

Aye, Zold is an almost fully Ice specced wizzy... It's a real shame he plays his friar more now...

But I think he'd gladly help out with keep defenses when needed... Just check if Vireb is online
