I was pestering Yggdra yesterday, managed to kill about 2-3 yellow/blue con..... then a very purple Kobie arrives --> Atilla !!!!!

So i circle round and try to locate yet some more middies..... none unfortunately were round at the time So i allow Atilla to find me near a tree, i dont even move from that spot, see him run past me, then back towards me..... then .....

You prepare to PA Atilla
You miss your PA
You miss
You auto-follow your target
You miss your CD
You miss
You prepare Garotte
You miss
Atilla turns round
Atilla begins casting a spell
Conciousness : about time you hit him at least once
Me : Ill try, nope i cant hit anything today, im a gimp
Conciousness : well youll get rooted and then you are dead
Me : I know i know, ill just run past him when he casts

Ivans fails to run through in time and gets rooted

Atilla runs away

Conciousness : dammit i told you, now we are dead
Me : dont worry i'll interrupt with my uber Xbow
Conciousness : and i suppose you have brought along some bolts like i told you ??? please tell me you have remembered to buy some
Me : /checks for bolts , none are to be found - Must have misplaced them or something
Conciousness : riiiiiight, now we are dead
Me : maybe if i draw weapons he will get scared ?
Conciousness: nope
Me : maybe if i stealth he wont see me ?
Conciausness : hmmmm
/Ivan stealths
Atilla turns round to see nothing, he gets closer and uncoveres Ivan, starts casting a spell.
Me: well now whos idea it was to go kill a few middies in the first place.....
Conciuosness : ZZZzzzzZZZzz
Atillas nuke hit Ivan for 1501 damage, while Ivan has 680 hit points.....

My group got 47 rp's for killing Walker this morning. Hell got more rps for killing a grey con that attacked me. Niar was only worth 876 rp's for a solo kill.

Niar is/was worth 955 rps solo fyi, last time i killed him solo anyway which is rare.

Well i only got 876 rp's for him even got a pic of my deed. Revenge is sweet. Well blocked a lot of hits until the poison wore off then 2h smack smack smack a dead niar on the ground. Cant wait until i get SLAM. Then Derric will lay face down.

I got 955 rp's for a Firbolg in yggdra yesterday. Didt get his name since they where 8 and i alone.

You can try 3 times. I've landed 1 slam out of 12 or more on a L50 assassin I think (Thorn) who got away because he used DF on me and ran ;(

1 time out of 12 would still feel good.

Shimmering Duskwood Round Shield?
No didnt think so, go buy one and start drooling

I use Infernal Defender or something because of the resists.

That 10 bonus isn't gonna help a lot. Instead of 1 out of 12 hit rate I'd get 1.1 out of 12 *cheer*

Ok I dunno what the hit rate is exactly anyway but I'll rather have the +8 body/spirit and +5 shield and some str.

Dmg with this shield is crap but the resists are worth it.

For starters u dont slam for damage, u slam for Stun.
No good using a whoping big shield that misses more than it hits and also takes an eternity to let u hit. Bigger the shield, longer u gotta wait after slam to hit ur opp and more end it uses.

Use a small duskwood shield JUST FOR SLAMMING.
Cant be that hard swapping shields can it?

and you would be surprised how much diff 10% tohit bonus adds. esp on epic armour

have some old logg were I parry 3 slams in a row. The "no-hit-bonus" on the style slam is poo ;(



and yes Solid is right. bonus do make TEH diffrence.

Let me think... an infil PAs me. Ok time to switch shield. 1st I open my inventory, then I drag and drop the shield to the left hand slot. Ok great i have the small shield equipped now! Ouch damn the poison is hitting for 8% more now. Ok time to slam... Damn! Still stunned... Ok time to slam! Damn nerf dodger! Oops. I died.

It adds exactly 10% larger chance to hit.

It's great that you tell me how to slam when you don't even have slam. Trust me, it gets blocked/parried/evaded a shitload. I've parried/blocked many slams and I've had them parried/blocked by my targets even more. Not to mention total misses.
