ATI8500 for my birthday

I'm thinking of upgrading to an ATI8500 for my birthday and was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a way of measuring how much a slow CPU is bottlenecking a faster GPU.

No, but I do know that a T-Bird 1.2GHz + will not be a bottle neck!
