Aten's shield

I had all 3 scrolls and was opening chests on island on third try when chest opened it said chest had shield in it and under it said You have completed atens shield encounter. but i didnt get the artifact in inventory so i couldnt give it to scholars to activate it Can it be droped from chest more times for me?

You can get an artifact as many times as you want. but you can only activate one.

it doesn't automaticly go to inv .. it drops from the chest and you then have to F7/g to pick it up ... like most artifacts.
