Guys
I've recently installed mandrake linux 8.0 as dual boot on my machine to dabble in linux once again. I have to say that in terms of installation it has come on in leaps and bounds in a year, correctly identifying all my hardware etc
One bugbear as usual tho!!!!!
I cant get my Asus TA to work correctly. The installation routines correctly identify it, recognise its pci, and seem to install and configure just fine. However, when I try to connect to the internet, (using the default dialer in kde), the box just expands to the edge of the screen & then says "unable to connect to the internet. Please verify configuration in control Center". Problem is, the control center recognises the adapter & seems to configure it fine. I have no other error messages & as you can imagine am a bit peeved.
If anyone could help I would be grateful, even if you could point me in the right direction (I have used linux before).
