"Assault on Mjollnir" -- Relic Raid Movie

Despite the fact that my ISP seemed intent on making it impossible by LDing me just as I had entered the relic keep, I managed to make a movie about Friday's relic raid from the footage I captured at Mjollnir. So, if you are wondering how it all happened and want to see my (admittedly glorified) account of it, download the movie below. :D As before, this movie is encoded using DivX (see http://www.divx.com if you don't have it installed) and spans 3 minutes at approximately 21 megabytes.

First of all, thanks to all the people saying nice things about my movie. :D And yes, it's a fast server, right on the university backbone, so I don't think I had to worry much about it going down. ;)

Well, I did say it was glorified. It's a movie, I can't expect to go on about "NPC bashing", now can I? ;)

Ahh, my stalker. :D I remember this kind of replies coming every time I present something like this, perhaps you should get off your lazy ass and do something better, Apathy? ;)

I would, if SS ever won any fights in RvR. :cool: Actually, I have some Emain footage that would fit the bill, but I need some more to make a complete movie. ;)

Some more production notes: Like before, this movie was captured at 25 FPS using Fraps (see http://www.fraps.com for the free demo version). It actually works pretty well. However, as you can see, I did lag somewhat in the relic and while in relic zerg, causing occasional "freezes" in the movie. Nothing to do about those, unfortunately. :/

As someone said, the soundtrack is from "Crimson Tide" (nerf Mirax who had to get someone else to tell her which one it was and now tries to give the impression she knew all along). It may not be the most original soundtrack to choose, but it has a good rhythm and change of moods that fits the story. :)

Finally, acute observers may see that the footage of Herbal "giving orders to the left and right" is actually captured in the Albion frontier, while attacking Benowyc. I was unable to get any clips of Herbal while at Mjollnir so I had to "cheat", but hey, artistic freedom!
