Grammar school - doesn't really matter where it is, will still be highest achievers no matter what...

Look at the best state school, they're probably reflective of good management etc.

Leicester Grammar School is fee paying, I'm sure of it.. unless it's just got 'Grammar' in the title for the lulz?

If you check either wikipedia or the schools own website you will see that it used to be a Grammar school but became an independent school (ie., fee paying) in 1981 when the council stopped funding Grammar schools.

In the past there were Grammar schools all over the country, however many counties decided to prevent schools from selecting on academic merit. When this happened many of those schools became independent but kept their old names. However in some counties they still have state funded Grammar schools and you don't pay fees, you just need to pass the entrance exam.
