Ok here is the thing =)
my armour is at low durability,
like guard of valour and mad scalars
sooooo, i have asked some pve addicted players
and told me that u can go to the guy that
i first took the artie , and give him and give me back
a 0 lvl artifact. ok it propably works
BUT i would like to ask, can i give it a second time
and take it back a second back ?
i am just curious. so i will know what to do at the future ;p
and dont worry for my armour =)

ohh i have also heard that from a patch all arties will have no
durability so they will never destroy , is this right ?
and in how long this patch will come ?

ty in advance .

Once you have lost Dur on an arti there is nothing you can do about it...

You can only activate an arti once, and you cannot repair dur.

For items you only use +skills when con is on 70, so actually you never have to repair them (afaik). My cleric CB is on 100dur and 70con, but works fine without loss of stats for example.

Armour on the other hand needs to be at 100% con, therefore after it's dead...it's dead.

Urm, never heard of this, so that surprises me.

Are you sure you didn't read this on VN?

Unless you use GoV in PvE then I wouldn't have thought it would be low dur yet. I only use mine for RvR and after 2 mill rps it is still 100% dur.

Sanya stated this week on the herald that once artis are gone they are gone, and that this was a deliberate design decision. Personally I think that this is bollocks. It is not gonna balance out powergamers vs casual coz once a powergamers artis run out he will either reroll or quit. He won't carry on playing in inferior gear.

Depends really on the tier.. It seems for instance leather gets lower condition faster then chain/plate.. I cant verify this; but I hardly did PvE on my GoV (except ofcourse Pve'ing it at start to get it to 10) on my ranger and its on 90% durability.

Its not degrading fast; but it looses easily 5% in a hardcore-week of ONLY RvR on my ranger.

That's is possible on Oglidarish Belt atm .. give it to the guy where you activated it, he gives you info about it.

I'm sure I read somewhere they were going to implement a quest you could
do to refresh the durability of your artifacts (not sure if the quest was
repeatable).

There is no way to restore lost Durability on any item nor are there any plans announced by Mythic to do so.

Changing arti version?

Well then here is something stupid. I got Orions for a lvl level mincer(thrust) When I went to activate it said something like Con or Dex version. Wee I take the dex version and guess what? I get the caster version with cast speed and powerpool instead of melee speed ect.

Is there anyway you can change the version you get if you do wrong? Like someone mentioned changing battler to crush ect.? :)

The only way to change an arti to another type is implimented ingame when a new type of that arti becomes available. An example are weapon types, when ToA launched there may not have been a crush/slash/thrust etc. version of a weapon and when one did become available an NPC was put in place to offer a trade (regardless of the level of the old one) to ONLY the new type (at level 0) and only if the arti was activated before the new type became available.

Tbh thats abit gay if its something like what happened to Baldrian. Its not his fault the game buggered up and gave him the wrong stats on arti so why cant he get a replacement?

The game messed up so he should be compensated... just like with the lag issues, we all got 2 free days coz of it, sorta like the same thing imo...

If you couldn't play for 2 days due to accidentally dropping a very sharp knife on your network cable you'd not get compensation.

He picked the dex version, he got the dex version.

Orion's belt gives you the option (if you're a hybrid) of enhancing your "cast speed and magical abilities" and "melee abililities" or words to that effect, it's not just a stat choice, it's a description of what powers it gives.

get new template with different artifacts ;)
use eirenes or nailahs instead of gov (or vice versa) or a 2.10 3.10 6.10 etc. hauberk.

either leave your scalars at 70% con and take more damage on your hands or find something else and live without the bonuses

I like a straight answer, but that in turn raises a question.

I have now spent and ungoodly amount of time on completing my sorc template, in that template I have Tartaros Gift.

Seeing as Tartaros gift is one of THE best staves out there both regarding
damage and regarding the MCL 2 charge.

One night a few weeks ago I was in a FG and we were involved in some
heavy fighting etc. almost the whole night. (a few hours worth of RvR)

And to my horror I lost 2 points of con on the damned thing.

If we count low and say that we loose 1 con each night we play it we can use it about 100-150 days depending on wether we repair it at 90% con or 99% con. (Numbers are just fast estimates but I dont think Im all that far off)

Into this we also have to add the fact that since it no longer levels in RvR
you have to PvE with it to lvl it, and that costs in round figures, 10 % con
shaving off another couple of days from my original estimate above.

I know its a game design, and I know you guys cant change that.

But where does this put us?

Redo the template every 3 months and start using RoG staves once Im out of
usable artifacts? :(

While Im at it, have anyone came up with even a remotely good template
without using degrading artis in it?
(No arti armor or staves, and no arti jewelry with +skills on it.)

Q: Can you add a way to add back durability to items?
A: They want to add a way to do this, however, they have not figured out the best way yet.
