Artifact Thief - part two.

Hey.

As you all know, Riots posted a thread some weeks ago about me stealing his artifact. I read the thread and didn't take it very seriously, and didn't think people in general would either, but after having been ruled out of several raids cause people just assumed all this was true, I think theres some straightening out needed.

Firstly, I have never "stolen" anything. I picked up a piece of loot, Malice, which I refused to share, and then took off - yes, thats what they got right. I didn't break the rules, and I was contacted by a GM afterwards that said that if I had said in group chat that I agreed that the Artifact was for someone else, then I would be considered artifact theft and they could RightNow it. I hadn't done such a thing. They did not specify clearly that it was for someone in particular, they didn't check with all the members (of whom they had never met or spoken to before, cause I was on my buffbot and they didn't know him) and automatically trusted he would do the "right thing".

And theres this tiny wee thing that they forgot mention, which happens to be Griffon Knight and me don't have a delightful past, some of the incidents including GK robbing me of Dream Sphere artifact and Shades of Mist, I can't recall the char names and I don't have any screenshots, but they are my sworn ingame alb enemy and I'd say its pretty natural to do bad things to your enemy.

After I had got the malice it was followed up by endless whine and insults from numerous alts from Riots, and other group members, I wasn't very likely to change my mind after getting throughly flamed like that. To hell with them.

And I'd like to say, I've never done this before and I never intend on doing it again. And if you people like to rule me out of your raids thats fine but atleast supply a valid reason other than "omg thief" cause that is everything but the truth. If it is then you should do the same to all Griffon Knights aswell.

hmm, so you were in a group, got the artifact as a group and decided that you wouldnt share it OR work out some sort of deal. Instead you just ran off with it. To me this constitutes as theft of it. You may not have been there when the rules agreed upon, and as such you should then clearly state this and work something out, most people are willing to do so if you approach it in the right mannor. I think on many an occassion this has been done, yet you felt above this and as such you got labelled as a thief, you reap what you sow. As such i have no sympathy for you.

Infact if it was me i would agree to have you help on a raid and then not let you get any loot from it just to see how you take it. Would be interesting to see if you come here whining and saying theft or ignore it and not say a thing, judging by your past actions you will come here whining. If you complained about it i would respond "I never said that i agree for you to get anything from the raid" and judging by you that would be fair and acceptable!

Live with it mate. This is a harsh community, you have been judged and until they got reason otherwise you shall remained labeled in this manner.

But to be fair sko, saying your not a theif and then explaining how you thiefed the arti, but its not really theft, really helps your case. And so what if GK wronged you so terribly .. two wrongs never make a right.

tbh nicking loot from any raid is worthy of shoe scum so you surely cant be surprised at peoples reactions.

Well thanks for the clarification, I would stop digging your hole now. GoA have agreed you didn't break the CoC, fair enough. But you must have some inkling, just a little inkling, the players would consider it theft? I fear not.

Lol you had lots of time to come up with an excuse and that's it?!

People think you are pond life for 2 main reasons. One, you stiffed the group you were with in a very deliberate way and made off with the loot. Fine, technically the system allows you to do that. Just don't expect to be Mr. Popular with raids after that.

Secondly though, you show no remorse and in fact rejoiced in it. That's really going to piss people off. I read this quote (from the original thread) in which you show that you had malice of forethought and (from the words you use) seem to be a most unpleasant person in any case. I've pasted it below. This I think is worse than the theft. Why would anyone want you on their raid with words like this:-

I'm not going to comment on the incident that happened with Malice but you are openly accusing GK of stealing 2 artifacts from you so I wonder why you never contacted a guild master about it?

I've never seen you pm any of the officers about a GK stealing "your" artifact.
Instead you just decide to do exactly the same thing to them that they did to you.
And people wonder why there are still wars in this world....

As I stated in the reply to your PM, its not just me that thinks what you did is wrong, I'm just more verbal about it.

I'll never allow you or one of your alts on any raid that I run, I (like some others) will publicly announce our reasons, quit and leave any raid that has you as a member, unless you appologise to GK and hand over a malice artifact.
