Artifact Hunt

been havin some trouble doin Egg of Youth. Seems hard to get enuf people together to do it... was wonderin if ne1 wanted to help me out in doin it mebbe on saturday then we can go on and hunt other artifacts that people that help need. Any advice on how to do EoY quickly and easily would also be pretty handy.

Take 1 fg, balanced, including paladin with high shield and good blocking and a couple of others with faultfinder, preferably. If you have no faultfinders, it can take a looong time unless (so I'm told) you take a ram or two.

Set the paladin to engage the big harpy in the middle of the ruins, with one cleric keeping an eye on him/her for healing. The rest of the group run round and demolish the columns one at at time. As each of the (I think 9) columns falls, it'll do a bit of pbaoe damage, so be ready to heal that. When all the columns are down, gank the harpy.

Someone should pick up the egg and quickbar it before the harpy dies. Get them to use it when she is on 0-1%. Then she dies.

That's how we did it, anyway. Took about 40 minutes.

Make sure to get pillars to 1% though ...if ya take em all down they have been known to respawn, get em all down to 1% then take em all out one after another
