Arti xp +free lvl?

If u pick up your free lvl in the frontiers near the relic. Do you get arti xp for that? as u get xp in the frontire? Took my free lvl in domnann today, and just as i clicked i tought about this >.< so dident have the oputunity to try this myself, any1 tryed this?
