Good job im not manager of Arse. I know what im like on FM. I build up load of cash and just spend it for the sake of it. I bought my mate once, from Morecambe for £100million, just because I could :D

RM is still the first....? :eek7:

Its richest in terms of income. Arsenal still have a £350 million mortgage on their stadium to pay off and Real Madrid certainly have lots of debts too. The clubs turn over is the only way to measure wealthiness because alot of clubs have rich owners who often inject money into the club. Clubs like Fulham and Blackburn have rich owners who have in the past given the club lots of money but nobody would call them rich clubs.

Peter Hill Woods statement on the arsenal website also said the cash we made during the summer + 26mil player transfers and +10mil for Henry ect contracts going mean our cash will jump to over 100mil only takes 3 years like this and the loan is gone. Also Arsenal have the flats from the regeration project still to sell. Nearly 1000 flats even as afordable housing that is still a nice chunk of change.

Just gose to show how wrong people like me were we do not need a mad bastard to buy us as that will still not make Wenger spend 30mil on a player.

The fact Arse has a cash surplus of £72 million, AFTER the loan repayments have been made speaks volumes.

Exactly. Plus the finance was only 260 Million not 350. EK paid for 100 mill of it.

Ask Liverpool and Man Utd what their cash surplus is lol. Put it this way, everything is far from rosy with their respective clubs financing.

Yep, Arsenal must avoid selling out these these foreign backers at all costs. Whilst United still turn huge profits (and this year will be a record breaker) 75% of it is going towards servicing the massive debt Glazer has landed us with. If we couldn't get crowds of 75,000 every week we would be finished as a going concern, that is something that keeps me awake at nights. Moving from Highbury was the best thing Arsenal ever did and once they clear the debts they are going to be in a very very healthy postition.

Always considered Arsenal to be a class act.

Hope they stay out of foreign ownership because they are a model on how to run a club properly. They play good football too.

(their only blot for me is when they kicked the crap out of us 4 days before the champ league semi a few years back)

aye, same here. Im not really supporting any clubs outside Denmark, but I really like how Arsenal plays, and the players they're using. I really hope they're winning premier league this year, as they deserve it for their offensive play.

Arsenal do seem to be becoming the neutrals club of choice.

I hope they do well this season, good club, great (and still underated by some) manager, good style of play.

Well tbh, if I was offered free tickets to watch any Prem team I'd pick Arsenal or Newcastle without a seconds thought.

Newcastle because theyre the Prem team I support and Arsenal because they are playing the attacking exciting football that I always hoped that the Newcastle style of play when Asprilla et al were there would evolve into............
