Most of you know I'm a CL in clan eTm.

Anyway we've been looking to join some competetive leagues and decided to join the EGL - www.eurogl.com

I sign us up, and an admin comes and asks us what division we'd like, theres a few divison - elite, premier, 1,2,3,4,5.

Anyway we're not dregs, so I said 2/3.

Theres one elite swedish clan, a few BWCSL div1 clan beaters, and some ECSL toughies as well.

14 Weeks of getting pwned euro style.

That said - theres about 5 clans we should own incely and about 5-10 we should have some close games on.

I'd rather be in Division 2 lol, we've beaten 2 of the div2 clans and had some close games with another few.

The general perception of other CL's I've talked to is the same.

Quite clearly the clan rankings wont be sorted untill Season 2-3, as there are some misplaced clans in All divisions.

Bugger.

Anyone fancy some pcws on clan2_fire and clan1_mill as they are league maps heh.

Hmmmm I would of offered a praccy against KEA, but it may be a mismatch, we are still coming to terms with tactics and stuff.

We must be heading in the right direction because we beat MCNP for the first time the other night:D

We had a Game against that #maim the other day (Shotteh), it was a very close game, infact, we actually lost by a very short margin.

Overall, the Game was Fun and very competitive

Was that game against Maim shotties only etc.? as they beat FCC 14-10.

The EGL map list is

Week 1. De_Aztec
Week 2. De_Cbble
Week 3. De_Train
Week 4. De_Inferno
Week 5. De_Nuke
Week 6. De_Prodigy
Week 7. De_Dust2


and then inverted for the following 7 weeks.

We've got our azzy tactics nailed down hard, and dust2 fairly well, but PCW's on ANY of the other maps are..

and holy shit they changed the maplist again. ( cbble and train wernt in it was clan2_fire and clan1_mill ).

no more mill etc.

erm well....

we need pcws on train, inferno, nuke and prodigy, we have a server.

#e.t.m on irc, but I wont be in till sometime after 4.

Yeah, M3 Only, Map was Inferno, we won the first game (MR12) somethin like 8-4 as Terrorists, but when we went CT, our Tactics where not so good and we ended up getting hammered about 8-4 (Didnt get Screenies of either half :/)

I wouldn't mind a friendly with eTm on inferno if thats ok.

We need the practice on that map tbh.

Leagues I find really never get the divisions for clans right, after a few seasons of promotion and relegation things sort themselves out.....well actually they dont, consider clans dropping out, new clans joining clans changing in skill level over the year.

yeah thats so right . Ive played in quite a few leagues and its alway been the same, a few clans in wildly the wrong divisions.

Dare i mention our division 9 blueyonder farce. most matches we had 20 + thats for sure

When we was in the Savage Q2 dm league a clan by the name of [BS] reformed. I think they were called Binary Shikang or some such. Anyway, they were fucking good, in an obnoxious arrogant kind of 16 year old way. Were in division 4 to start, whined and bitched all the time, an d also won every match they played by a huge margin. In fairness, they beat us relentlessly, and crowed about it in a similar manner. I think our worst score against them was like 190-30, or summat like that.
Anyway, 2 of their gobbiest members have taken up cs lately it seems. KEA recently played them , and we won so convincingly that one of the aforementioned gobshites left before the end of the game. Oh how we laughed.
You know what they say. What goes around, comes around ;)

Ahhhhh I played in that game, yes we kicked their asses, now I know why you and Mider were so chuffed about the win:D

Well we had 2 good games tonight, beat LaB quite heavily and lost 13-11 to bombsquad on a map we've never played for as a clan with improvised tactics, so it wasnt too bad.

Its amusing how FCC are in the Elite division, yet a clan that beat FCC are in the third division.

FCC are a long standing clan though, they have built up their rep over the years to get there. New clans who are good, of which there are many, must do the same.
