I think that he should've come back to West Ham.

I think it will be a good combination. Heard somewhere that Pompeh fans thought if he went there it’d be the biggest betrayal he could do. But really wtf has pomp done for him? (I mean within the club Director and such).

Dunno why they're moaning, its a job. He isn't going to turn down a great opportunity like that. They messed him about at Pompey with all this director of Football crap. Is Wigley sacked now, or are they working together?

I'm fairly sure I'd have no problem with it, quiroz (or however it's spelt) left for real (admittedly not such a staunch rival) and is now back as #2. Noone batted an eye-lid at united.

Wigley has walked afaik

Poor old Wigley, always felt bad for him. His face on MOTD whilst being interviewed after a drubbing, he always said he thought they were improving from game to game. :(

Apparently he's meant to be an amazing coach, but obviously not an amazing manager. :/

6 years ago Steve Wigley was coaching my mates under 10 side in the Tyro League. he was not qualified to be a premiership manager by a long shot. Redknapp is a great wheeler dealer and hopefully will pounce upon some bargains when the transfer window comes up in January. Anyway, looking forward to the derby in may
