Arrows ?

Since the patch we have new arrows and they have new names.

Keen : which I use for mobs (slash)

Barb : which I use in RvR (thrust)

and there is Blunt (all footed flight)

What is Blunt (Crush) mostly good for ??

An explanation on the three arrow types and when it is best to use them would be appreciated

When the target is vulnerable to certain damagetype, us that type of an arrow...

Yes I know that but I wanted a few examples of which targets are most vulnerable to which arrow damage type.

a midgardian player in chain would, for example, be vulnerable to thrustarrows (ie. you hit for more damage using thrustarrows on him/her). A hibernian player in scale would hate you if you shot him/her with slasharrows. An armsman in plate would go down pretty fast if he/she was shot by crusharrows from a ranger ...


... the list goes on .. and on ... and on

every type of armour in the diffrent realms got diffrent kind of resists. Some are resistant to thrust and others to slash etc.

For PvE. Very nice. Doesnt cover all mobs (Not sure if its up to date either) but helped me a bit.

blunt is good against skeletons and shelled creatures like lilispawn, plated fiends and crabs.

While we are on the subject of arrows - can anyone point me to some proof that crafted arrows are/are not more effective than store bought?
