I tried hunting it a few times with no success but I do know need agro faction with it so IT attacks YOU though - it swoops down from highup and drags you off somewhere for a scrap. Mercury has fought it afaik so she will probably post here when she notices this thread :)

All sites I have checked say that he will aggro you even if you have friendly faction with the other griffins, and it´s hard to check your aggro to Arr when I can´t find him ;)

How to farm Arr

I agree, with others Arr is a rare trophy and worth to have it. The only you can do is just roam in Gripklosa Mountains and hope to grab you. I have done it once when i was doing a quest there, luckily he grabed me. Hopefully i was there with my Spiritmaster and used ML9 pet as it was red con. I am not sure if you need Griffon faction aggresive.

Arr

Run around Gripklosa Mts just about anywhere. Eventually he'll spring on you, and you'll have to hope he hasn't popped purple to 50, as he can. I've had better success on Excal than Pryd.
The ice avalanche has no effect as far as I can see, so ignore any instruction to try it. I also tried just standing there until he aggroed me, but have something else to do irl - like reading a big book.
Sorry to be so negative, but this is one big pita, and Mythic are probably laughing up their sleeves at the extra time you have to spend to get it. No-one will know you have it btw, as Mythic again in their usual thoughtful manner have made it impossible to see names on trophies - and Arr is identical to Hurika.

Oki Mr Trophy Expert/ Museum Curator, I'll have:

Green Knight (x2) Need one for a friend as well
Megalodon
Mid DF Prince
Hib DF Prince - if there is one
Nosoden - because the big worm wiped us last time we were there
Arr - because it's there somewhere

But I wo'nt hold my breath, and I'll have to go kill some of them anyway.

Displaying a Trophy before you've killed the mob is like wearing somebody else's medals - fraud.

Thanx for answer Merc, I will keep roaming Gripklosa till I get so sick of trophys that I burn my cottage down with all the trophys in it. Once you started hunting trophys you can´t stop untill you have them all :)

...tell me about it. Still need DF Mid Prince and Megalodon. Can't sleep at night worrying that somebody will get the complete set before me. :)

But Mythic have been very sneaky - they put 2 frontier mobs that used to be easy behind milegates. That slows down the more recent competition from newcomers....

Wasn't you who displayed the Albion Prince i have given you before you kill him because you couldn't wait as you told me?

Fraud

Aye, I confess it was me.

I displayed the Alb Prince Trophy I traded with you for Talos for at least 10 minutes to see what it looked like. Now it's stored away until the time Ive helped killed the Prince

Has Megalodon ever been killed by Mids on this cluster? Would be nice to try and take him down, never seen the trophy.

I doubt it has ever been killed after cluster, atleast not by Midgards. Megaladon's trophy looks like Razorfin or Vanol but in larger size. Last time Midgards tried to kill him, i heard they were like 70 people and Megaladon wiped them. Probably they had not tactics or didn't how to set their groups. It would be great experience to run a hunt for him.

KingeX is correct... I ran a raid to try and kill Megalodon a little while after the patch was brought in which he came alive. We had semi opted groups only and approx 70 people but he was uber tough and we wiped. Iirc he was a lot harder than Leviathan to kill but ofc it may be different now with more recent patches. Would be nice if anyone had some specific tactics and group setups to try on him.

I do remember it took us about 30 mins to find him as he roamed almost all of the Irish Sea zone and even tho he is enormous he was pretty fast so was hard to get people to a specific point to be able to pull so I let people roam the zone and report /locs when they found him.

He is the largest of the 3 shark trophy mobs so certainly would make a nice display :)

Would be nice to combine a Megalodon/Relic Raid so that the numbers needed turn up. Anyone up for the task of leeding? Think Vav was thinking of a Megalodon-raid a few months ago.
