Dear Mythic,

As of recent the armsmen community has become intolerable of the actions, or lack there of, of Mors. Lately he has been posting information such as, “I have gotten snapshot changed, look for it in patch notes.” Or such drivel as “There is no need to test”. By the community’s powers to submit feedback for change, this is what we’re asking. We are asking you to remove Mors as TL. We held a poll on whether or not Mors should resign and 87% said yes 5% were indifferent and the remaining 8% said they approved of him as TL. The community has listened to lost promises with response to questions few and far between. Mors has also had a lack of log in time since he became TL. If you check the logs on his accounts of when and how long he logged in you will see a 1/2hr once to 2 times a month. It is speculated that this act is just to maintain his GM position for his guild. Mors as a person is a good guy, but as a TL he is doing sub-par job. He has a lack of communication on all boards he watches. The lack of testing and lack of actual playing for almost a year leaves him unable to keep current with new armsmen situations. As an armsman I would like to see a change, but with an inactive TL that is unable to communicate effectively, denounces the fact that testing has an effect on the outcome of the game, and is otherwise inactive should disqualify his right to be TL. It is the armsmen communities wish that Mors be removed from TL immediately, so someone else that knows the class better, is still active, and communicates truthful information to the community may step into the position.

It could be done, considering Mors did not do ANY testing for NF, no alterations were made with the assumption the class was viable. Also, if you look over some of his TL reports there have been faults, flaws, mistakes etc.

We're not asking Mythic to give us 10x spec points and every spec line available with Quadruple figure base stats. Just to bring us in line with the other primary heavy tanks by removing double spec'ing, giving us a half decent RA, and maybe improve our groupability.

people have been trying to get double speccing removed since it originally went live...... what makes you think they will suddenly sit up and listen now ?

anyone with half a brain knows Snapshot is a pile of cack, shouldnt need a TL report and tests to point it out, its kinda blindingly obvious.

the inherant bonus of giving alb tanks plate has nowhere near the effect they seem to think it should.. oh but youve got PLATE! ooh!.. done anything about it ? no

paladins are very powerful in *certain* situations, armsmen arent suddenly going to get love that would put alb at the top of the tank tables, mid are melee realm remember ... just give up , its NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Whilst I do agree that Mors is a bad choice for our TL, I doubt changing him will make any differance, Mythic do not listen to ANY of the team leaders, they don't give a shit what anyone thinks let alone the TL's. So wether we have a good one or not it wont make a differance to mythic actually improving the class, blind luck is all we can hope for there.

think it was the zerker one (?)who stood up for what he wanted, rather vocally, and got kicked out. The entire TL program is a farce, has been for ages.
Mute point for me tho tbh, 2 years of waiting, not having any more of my money

afaik programmers need time to implement certain player asked thingies, and the loudest voice isnt necesairly the biggest part of the comunity

afaik this also happens in daoc. i can remember enough times when kemor helped us.

back on topic.....

a good TL does has it use. If no one has a direct link to mythic it will never be read thus never concidered. With a TL report we have atleast the faint hope the mythic devs will think about the problems.
That said i hope we get a TL that will adress the real armsman problems to muythic in such a way they will think about it.

Dunno what you are talking about really, atleast I have 100% trust in my Skald TL. Rosanne Lottsa is doing a great job and the Skald community reading her board, can all see that.

Hmm, armsman forum is back up and due to a "database crash" most of the posts trying to hold Mors accountable have "disappeared".

I believe TLs can do something - the necro TL is a great TL, he tests and replies and there are plenty of necro changes in 1.70 and passes information between the community and Mythic. Without Redh as the TL i doubt necros would have as many fixes as they did in 1.70.

Dunno what you are talking about really, atleast I have 100% trust in my Skald TL. Rosanne Lottsa is doing a great job and the Skald community reading her board, can all see that.

But I do agree that armsmen need to be adressed in some way.

how long were thanes a joke ? how long it take em to fix it ?

how long have armsmen been a joke ? how many people have been saying that for god knows how long ? how long will it take em to do something about it ? its not difficult, they just dont care imho

all the TLs can do is point out whats wrong and hope it is sorted, mythic can (and do ) chose to ignore whatever they want, stuff being changed isnt so much down to the TLs as down to mythic bothering to get off their arses and do something about it

when I read the class specific RA coming to me in NF (compared to some of the sweet abilities other classes get) I almost choked on me cornflakes. Almost. Mythic hate armsmen. The only significant change they made to the class was to nerf polearms styles

thankfully we have ToA so now we can

1) Target caster/healer
2) hit guard/intercept/bodyguard
3) afk
