Arma 2

I just started playing Arma 2 again. Single player.

It is amazing how detailed and complex it is compared to bloody CoD console games squashed onto a pc.

I see people have been playing DayZ, so I expect y'all already know this.

Blimey, long tme since Ive been on here!!
Ive been playing ARMA2 online for a few months now, bought it firstly to get into DayZ but recently been playing a lot of the Wasteland game. Throd, it rocks man. Drop me a PM and we could meet up on Skype or something, the game is sooooo much better played in a group.

Assuming your running Operation Arrowhead? if so, then not for wasteland, just make sure you have the latest Beta patch installed and run from there.

I played a round of multiplayer, it wasn't Wasteland though, not sure what it was. It went like this;

We spawned, it was nighttime and we were all in some kind of fortress, loads of people. Half the people on our team immediately started shooting each other, the other half started getting killed by artillary from the other side. I managed to get out, found a motorbike and hopped on, and set off towards a yellow dot I assumed to be the other teams' base. It was without doubt the most unconvincing bike ever. Anyway, after a bit of going along in a black screen I arrived at the other base, walked along a bit and found a lake, there appeared to be 3 enemy players in the lake, who knows how they got there. I shot at them for a bit, and despite the lag they eventually died, no doubt never aware that I was shooting them, or indeed that they were in a lake. Basically, it was crap, I disconnected.

On the other hand, the sp is great, but I've got to a certain point and the game just freezes, its rediculous, I cant play any further.

Arma is a proper computer game. It's quite difficult, occasionally buggy, but takes a lot of input from the player. If that's your thing, great, if not, MW single player is out there for you.

Because MW single player is the only alternative to this if you're not a TRUE GAMER. Trolol.

If you like it, sweet - but you don't have to. Doesn't mean shit if it isn't your cup of tea.

Well, I don't play console games and I've never played MW I resent the suggestion that I do because I don't like this I'll give it another go some time, I just don't have the time to play it properly.

I've cheered up now I've had some sleep though
