Any other Zen DSL customers experiencing unutterably shit service recently? Or is it just me?
There's no known network problem, as far as I am aware our test line hasn't had any trouble, and if there'd been any common problem reported by users then us networking guys would have been informed.
I suspect it will prove to be a problem local to your line. If you give our support people a call, they can look into it and pass it up to us if they need to.
Given other ISPs' recent capacity problems, I thought it would be reassuring to our customers if I were to inform you of a few of our scheduled upgrades to the service.
Zen has ordered a Redback SMS10000 which will support up to 8 155Meg L2TP Central pipes! Delivery is scheduled for end of June.
Zen also has 2 additional 155Meg L2TP Central pipes on order. The first has a scheduled delivery date of 13th May and the 2nd is schedule for commissioning on 1st August.
These together with further plans to improve network capacity will ensure that our customers maintain the high standard of service that we think our customers deserve. Further announcements will be made over the coming weeks.
