ARGH!!! Need help asap!!

MY pc is up and running, and my cousin has given me his Daoc account to have.

Updated..etc all was well and I chose the Excalibur server. It then loaded up and it went straight to the character selection screen where my cousin had already made 2 characters on Albion. Where or how do I select what world to play?! I want to play on Hibernia!!!

also he (cousin) adviced me to get a program that allowed me to alt&tab?!?! Anyone know of this?

Thnx, and can't wait to start playing my archer!!!

If you want to play Hibernia without deleting the 2 characters your cousin made, you'll have to play on Prydwen. If you want to play Hibernia on Excalibur you will have to delete those characters.
Next time you log in ,without using the fast load option to a character, you can choose to make a character on hibernia at the realm selection screen.

Alt&Tab? never heard of it, but it sounds suspiciously like a cheat to me m8, my advice, dont bother, just play the game as it is

Oh no no no no! ITs not a cheat... let me explain myself.

In some PC games whether online or not, you could hold down alt and press tab which minimised the game and took you to your desktop allowing you to be able to browse webpages or check system config' while still having the game running.

I asked this because I could see myself needed a quest guide while I was doing them and thus having the ability to alt+tab out and check the guide would be really handy. But I guess I could live without the function!

There is somekinda program called daox that allows u to jump into windows while playing... its considered a cheat even though quite many use it...

daox is a program that allows you to run DAOC windowed. It can't really be considered a cheat because mythic are adding a windowed version of DAOC.exe to their next patch.

If you like me and have huge problems with your windows key(boots you out) and can't turn the key off in windows settings(not prepared to deface my kb either), then daox is a useful tool. Besides, it doesn't allow me to do anything I can't do with one of my other seven computers here.
