...and it has this at the bottom of the terms and conditions:

So it's either an elaborate sales pitch for a seminar... or it is indeed part of AMD's A-64 launch.

Just saw Area-64 promoted on the NVidia site for one, so I guess it's genuine.

Looks as though area-64 is definalty not an "offical" AMD site, it may be affiliated, guess thats a chance you take when you sign up

Indeed it isn't an official AMD site, but it looks like AMD are using a 3rd party to promote the launch event.

In any case, it's promoted on the AMD site.

Not that it matters, as I won nothing anyway (will try again tomorrow tho!).
