archery range items

Hiya,

Can any of you scouty types point out any +% archery jewelery items/cloaks that you might know of?

Not armour or bows - no use to me

Might be worthwile to check out the rewards for the lvl 40 and lvl 45 Mesothalasse quests + the Mau quests. Most likely they will contain + to scout skills.

Will take some effort to get the quests though, as you will need good faction.

will be looking for one of these things once they fix the bug and it's no longer fotm:

duskwood Cyclone Skinners Crossbow (4.3 Speed)
Magical Bonuses:
- Dexterity: 15 pts
- Quickness: 15 pts
- Spirit: 5%
- Energy: 5%

Level Requirement
- 50 Level

Bonus to archery speed: 2%
Bonus to Dexterity attribute bonus cap: 10

Don't think the mau quests have archery bonuses for armsmen (hence the jewelery and not armour/bows)

My scout has 45 days /played on him and he's still only lvl 41 - anyone calls him fotm and I'll scratch their eyes out...

(fotm???? Bloody cursed, more like... whatever inspired me to make a saracen thrust scout...now that proves he's not fotm, lol!)

looks like all the range bonuses are either on artifacts or are restricted to monsters

hrm might have to wear some studded legs from ML10 or something

can max archery speed by the looks of it though.

Here is a little test, both with fully maxed buffs.

Jimmythepost hit you for 220 at a rather long prepare time.
You hit Jimmythepost for 400 at a rather short prepare time.

Wanna shot small missiles, roll a fotm

Flim, dont think you can get specific +% dmg/range for rvr on armsmen, but you can get bonuses for pve they'll work

Yes, pvp dmg and range doesn't work since those boni are only available on artifacts or ML10 items etc. Speed works though. Or atleast should since it isn't limited to what target you're shooting at.

Unsure if TOA archery boni apply to anything but longbows/recurve bows and composite bows though. Have you tested it with xbows?

+ Archery Range items are in short supply, the only ones i know that arent mob type specific are the scout artifacts.

can't see why it wouldn't - there's archery haste on the cyclone skinners crossbow itself

pretty decent necklace that too

now all i need to do is work out how to fit 26 str cap 26 qui cap and as much archery haste as possible onto a template which has no shield ....

As far as I know, the only items with archery range on are all artifacts:

1. Golden Scarab Vest
2. Mariasha's Sharkskin Gloves
2. Gem of Lost Memories (1.70)
3. Fool's & Braggart's Bow

Archery speed items are pretty common though, there are lots of those knocking about.

cancelled a dex buff today and weaponskill dropped - sure enough adding 18 str and 18 dex (individually) had the same increase in weaponskill..


now I tested it way back then and it was definitely pure strength, it appears to be 50/50 str/dex now.

Bleh that makes a SC template murder.... need str/con/dex/qui, might just give up on things like style damage
