NOT from where vos says, been in the sanctuary farming all melos mobs for 4 days now, not 1 single arbiter drop.

So where?

I found Skyros mobs to be quite good. Farmed there with ml9 pet for an hour and got a book

I farmed arbiter 1/3 (most rare one) in sanctuary. there is only 2 mobs that drop it "mainly".. Melos weapon master and Melos guard something. I farmed all others mobs there while waiting for those 2 to pop again, but I only got Arbiter scrolls from them.

Any Skyros, Melos and Naxos mob can drop them, its just the weaponmaster and the guardsman have a higher chance of dropping them.

Managed to farm three Arbiter 1 yesterday by killing them there.

Melos swordmaster (or what its called), drops 3/3, Weaponmaster drops 1/3 and i dont know who drops 2/3 ( i know they have done so all drop all scrolls in mesothalassa, but the named mobs have a higher precent chance of actually dropping the scroll than the other mobs)

you are just very unlucky, i got 5 3/3 on 15 minutes.. just kill the right mobs and it drop very fast

this is wrong, in 1.81 EVERY scroll drops in the zone where the arti enc is, and EVERY scroll has the same % to drop

weird, we been at it for 4 days, as i said, not one single drop - and we killed the right mobs - will try skyros today.

yea i guess, but its odd that we havent had 1 single drop - im duoing with a merc (im pally) the merc spams dualshadows with my haste/end/dmg add so we are killing fast, and loads...

In case it helps, the Apprentice Scholar in each haven tells you what drops what. That is kept up to date, unlike the websites.

The real annoyance with these is when people pet these mobs, and they get stuck coming back. I've killed them in lots of odd places to reset them.

sobekites in the oceanus areas also drop them. different island for different ones tho.

scrolls also drop from mobs in ml2 and ml3 dungeons

most scrolls only cost 10g in housing now adays, have you checked?

on topic: ive always farmed the mobs in sanctuary when i needed those scrolls, can sometimes take awhile, but on other occations ur lucky n they drop fast.

all mobs drop all scrolls, but the ones listed by to drop the scrolls have a higher chance to drop em than the other mobs

It was briefly as you describe on the US servers but never like that on the Euro ones. Farming the named mobs on VOS is far better than killing random mobs.
