I realised something this weekend whilst indulging in awesome Dutch apple pie and that is it is not like UK apple pie in the slightest.. ie it is not like stewed apple enclosed in pastry... Dutch apple pie is more cake like it has like pastry at the bottom but it is gooey and yummeh and moist and ... gonna mess myself if I I carry on thinking like this...

I totally want to change my vote to pie if TdC means dutch apple pie rather than English.... and before you put crumble up there at the top you guys should totally eat this stuff first as it is completely awesome in comparison.....

tdc does mean proper apple pie (eg that what you had) and not the horrible that is UK apple pie. though I will allow apple strudel and double apple shisha baccy

Then, doused in hot steaming Finest vanilla custard.....

The view from the bowl approxinetly 5mins later.........
