Appeal to Albion

What the heck has happened to Albion while I have been in SWG? Come on guys, lets get some pride back into Albion and stop hibs and mids from walking all over us. This is an appeal to all the older players who like to roleplay and to the younger guys to put some pride back into our realm. Lets stop those leaf eaters and dwarfs from walking all over us. Come on lets get sorted and organise Albion to defend it's self, seems they been taking the piss for too long. I don't want to hear they own us for goodness sake but if we get the numbers to force any invading force out of our home we will be alot happier. Rant over but come on guys this is the last time i ask, tis only a game I know but it's more fun this way.

You'll see the alb retaking strategy has gone waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay downhill, compared to the sorry shape it used to be in

If someone like Conoor(& co) are setting up a retake I'll join... but you won't see me anywhere near a bg if I don't know the people running it. Had too many bad experiences joining with random retake groups.

And you get alot of drama queens who only join the bg to have arguments. tbh this is a bad time to start playing again if you want to defend the frontier. Better to work on your ToA stuff/MLs and get ready for NF!

Agree with Escape on that one about working toa stuff in preparation for NF. Defense doesn't mean anything no more Im afraid. It's all about RPs. You have the older players that although have more experience, don't really want to team up with newer players for lack of experience, RR level,call it what you will. Then you have the new players that will work with anyone but pretty much don't listen to a single thing the older players have to say, unless they know him/her well, or are guildmates etc. Try defending a realm with those kinda odds. And don't get me wrong, I like Albion and would never switch realms, but even TL reports state that Albion has always been the inherently weaker realm in RvR. No need for peeps to whine over that. It's just the way things are.

There are mostly the same who try to defend or go on reraids. Cheers to DLK here, they are trying to take a keep back every time, so far I can see. And not going with an unknown leader helps getting not angry, but you will never find good new leaders if you never follow. I moan in defence/ reraid bg's but I try my best to help. If everyone would do like this, we can turn bg to listen and have lots of people who will help. But the hope for a better future seems to be to strong, therefore no need to make the present better...

Same is true with relics....80% won't come defend relics until mids/hibs are actually nibbling on the doors.

Tis a sad state of affairs but also one thats not worth loosing ur rag over

/tickle Ginius i try, mostly its for my scouts ml xp (i usually end up logging pala tho )and to claim a keep i love having one, keep taking is what i really enjoy in the game so i wont stop.

Completly agree with you! That excuse is tipical of loosers sorry. "we get beatten so i aint going anymore" You get beatten beacause albs dont stick together and fight along side. Imho we loosing experience in the Frontiers as ppl turn to artifacts and MLs. Im not saying you shouldnt...please go if it makes albion stronger...but please do like booner/darklis do, take a lot of people to MLs and they all get credit for it..that makes us stronger. AS for Artifacts and scrolls...what the hell you doing by selling a scroll for 8 p when pbbl you dont even need it?! Sell it for 1-2 P max or give it to guildies, it will make them happy, pbbl gain more friends and we can kick harder on frontiers

Last relic raid, in the bg we had erm, I think 5 sorc, out of about 120 people.

Any guess on how much CC mids / hibs would have on a similar raid ? Id say 20 to 30 maybe ? Here in lies the problem, has always has been the problem, lack of sorcerers, ahm.. and lack of GOOD sorcerers too

Dont know what the hell to call 30 High RR hibs in our frontier. But how the hell would you call the fact that most people are in Emain not caring about keeps, and only chasing after mids/hibs? Sure there's some defence in our realm and saw it today and was a real good retake of our keeps. But after I tagged along with my pally who had just gotten faultfinder and wanted to try it out, I yelled for a group,asked on /b at berkstead or boldiam *Cant remember which* and PMed asking about any spots,what was going on after etc. On all occasions I was ignored as though ppl thought I was a spy or something. In the end can't say I really care about being ignored, but if some peeps that are running around,wanting to help out, and cant even get a simple answer on what's going on, how are they suppose to know where to go,what to do etc?

mmmm decided my previous post didn't exactly say what i ment...was in a rush.

Where it says I it should have said 'we'. The same 'we' who go to defend keeps are the same 'we' who go rvr aswell.

Whenever there is a keep take/retake its 99% of the always exactly the same people..a core of about 15 and then the 'others' that come from same guild and alliances.

Now i won't lie and say i go to every take or retake becuase i can't..i have to work.


Anyway...my original point stands..i love keep takes attacking defending i love it. My 'gifv nf' line supports that becuase that is my favorite part of the game. But..and tis a big but. With this smallish grp of people taking a keep from even number of people is very hard [even more so vs hibs with the shroom!! /me shoots awarky]


Oh and on the wondering how PE run a 1fg setup sucessfully...i do know how they do it.....but i hate to break this to you...not everyone wants to play the game that way!!! shock horror!!!!!
this is also y i made a scout way way way back when noone played them..becuase that is how i like to play the game...as the observer [or scout if u will ] for the people who do like to run the 1fgs...ask peeps who run in emain and more often than not they will say they have had a pm from me telling them about a grp buffing or how many grps have gone through amg recently..its how i like to play

I prefer getting togther with 1 or 2 friends [normally feathers and scouse] and hanging around emain or soloing in odins [donno y but theres always a couple of hibs amg odins who give a good fight!! /me pokes Trebuchet come back u liddle luri!!]

seems more and more of Albion do give a shit ( quoting Gale here ). This is just a thanks for the responce from albion for the past couple of days. Special thanks to Stub and Boz and the many others who have made me a happy man to be back amongst you all. Honest am not mad, just the way I like to see co operation in our realm and in my mind the way the game should be played. By all means play it your own way, you pay the money but it's more fun this way.
