AoM ressists are calculated separately from det/ressists..

Now I dont have a calculator close so cba to give you exact numbers but I can explain how it works..

lets say a DD normaly does 200dmg.. after your standard ressists this could be lowered to 100 (50% of original value)..

Now 28% AoM is multiplied on top of this... meaning the damage will be lowered to 72dmg.. now had the AoM-ressists been added to the original 50% we would have had a total 78% ressist which would have lowered the 200damage to 44dmg..

AoM (and TEM) were addative until 1.65 if I remember correctly.

btw didnt I explain this on ventrilo the other day? ;)

28% resists at AoM5? :eek6: Thought it was 3% per lvl.

On Camelotheralds RA list it says this about AoM:

"Increases resistance to all damage types of magic by 3% per level of this ability."

Should be 15% at AoM5 unless I´m missing something here... or camelotherald´s page is out of date or just wrong. Plz explain. :)

your final resist will depend on the amount of damage done on you. thats why an answer cant be given.

for example, on a 200 dmg DD your resist will be 61%, but on a 500 dmg DD it will be 64%. get it? AoM is caculated after your normal resist.

That's not true, the only difference that would occur here is because of damage being rounded down halfway the calculation, otherwise it's completely linear.

Assuming 26% resists from items:
With 16% resistance buff the total resist would be 58.24%
With 24% resistance buff the total resist would be 64.00%
Without a resistance buff the total resist would be 53.28%

Resist_Total = (1 - Resist_Items - Resist_Buffs) * (1 - Resist_RAs)

Where all resists are of course fractions (0.26 for 26%, etc.)
