Anything I upload is getting corrupted!

I have tried uploading pictures (5 so far, All in jpg format) to both my BW webspace and my ISP web space. Neither have worked! Heres a picture i just uploaded of my desktop:

and heres a pic of vice city i uploaded earlier.

Firstly, i thought i could be that i was running out of webspace, so i uploaded to my ISP's webspace where i'm using 0 of 55mb and its not that.

Does anyone have any idea whats causing this corruption? I'm using FTP Voyager, Btw.

Are you uploading in binary, and not ASCII mode? Also, do the pictures display correctly on your local machine?

Thanks, Yeah that was it. I was uploading in ASCII All fixed now

Edit ~ There is usually an 'Auto' option which will switch between binary and ASCII depending on the type of file you're uploading. Although not always perfect, it usually prevents such erros as this happening

Yeah, I had it switched to ASCII because i wanted to upload some .pas files and the auto thingy wasnt set for pascal files. That was a few weeks ago so i forgot to set it back.

Ah I'm not sure about your FTP client, but some allow you add certain file extentions to a list and choose whether to upload them in ASCII or Binary mode. It may be worth checking the program's options if you're going to be regularly uploading *.pas files.

Yeah, theres an option to specify the way that each file type is uploaded, But i was only uploading 3 files, so it wasnt worth messing about with it.
