It's the oldest possible Xbox and is second hand! It's not like it's an old Xbox 360 or anything.

Nah, seems about right. Don't forget they have space issues in most stores (especially this time of year) so they won't want to hold too many Xbricks, and unlike PS2, its not really an "active" console anymore.

£20 buys you a decent amount of computing power and utility. Dont forget just because a game is 4 years old doesnt mean it doesnt absolutely kick arse. Gfx isnt everything.

i can softmod it and run xbmc on it, that lets me do a whole world of things with it apart from just palying games.

so to me it IS worth paying £19.98 for it.

I concur, that 20 quid is getting you an absolutely fantastic network enabled media player, plus a solid games console.

It cant play proper HD stuff (lacks cpu grunt, last time I checked) but short of thats its fantastic.
