As you may well know, Albion's frontier dungeon (Halls of The Corrupt) is home to Aindon The Archwizard. The nice piccy below is of us killing him a good while back. He drops some pretty sexy caster staves for albion, my wizard's Erubescent Agonism Staff being a typical example (there's one for each specline if im not mistaken), each with a full length glow and nice stats (the standing bid for my staff is 3.5p - they're nice items). I'd be interested in seeing whether he drops similar staves for hibernian raiders, and would also be equally interested in obtaining a mana-spec staff for my rapidly-approaching-50 eldritch if he is found to do so.

For the encounter, you need 3fg to deal with the copies of himself that he spawns, plus the other fireball-throwing wizards present in the room. He re-pops within 10-15 minutes and can therefore be farmed for 3-4 staves per hour.

Any interest? I can attend the raid myself using either a 50 bard or enchanter, so that I'm doing my bit.

The easiest way is to ask guilds if they'd want to bring 1fg+ on a raid, that way lottoing is much easier. So, who thinks their guild would be interested?

Yeah, I know..I sucked bigtime during the tourny but come on..how much skill do we need here..after all we are talking about an alb dungeon here. As long as we can get 10fg together and zerg the place nothing can go wrong (/sarcasm off)

I've killed that guy with 2fgs before, wasnt too tough, dont think he dropped anything good though but we only killed him once whilst rampaging through the dungeon.

I'm about >.< that close to understanding herbal's post. At the moment though, I don't. I'm assuming there's humour involved, and that there's an attempt at sarcasm surrounding my several previous attempts to get the firewizzy staff...

WF, find me a map and I'll throw togeather a couple raids for it next week. 2-3 raids sound ok? You want speed or you want the min amount of groups needed?
I could prolly manage around 5-6 fg if you want speed, prolly more tho sense it's a raid not many have ever done, curiosity factor.

There's not really the reward to merit 5-6fg (unless of course you take in the green knight and [with that many] a summoner perhaps?). From experience 3fg is roughly the number you need to be able to do aindon - there's a fair bit of stuff to deal with. The reward is just a single staff for each time you kill him though. Maybe things are different in hib but in alb there's no way I could ever have got together 5-6fg unless they'd stand a good chance of getting something back in return.
