Anyone waiting for the EVE servers to open?

Just got the game today installed and waiting... ;o

one thing i hate about mmorpgs is the fact that the 1st week or so i dunno what the fuck im doing Ultima Online took me about a month to get fully to grips with.DAOC took like 2 days but EVE looks like a thinking mans game.

My name is gonna be Envenom in the game so to all you scum that hate me feel free to hunt me down ^^


btw are there any UK servers at lunch?

I actually played a couple of nights...

Even endured mining/trading until I could afford a better ship to go pirate hunting. That got boring, too.

Along with gazillions of rednecks spamming the chat with "we are uber kickz0ring Saddam's ass" etc. drivel.

It's just not my kind of game (and I even had enough stamina to play Elite II until I could afford an Imperial Scout... ).

Playing Elite II wasn't stamina, it was self-flagellation. Got some guilt to expunge, Sicko?

EVE is blatantly a PvP game, it's not going to be about trading or mining in the end-game, although hopefully people that wish to do this will find spaces in corporations that escort/protect em or whatever.
