Well do you? Its out this month and will it be a Q3 and Ut beater? It should do by the time it has taken to get the thing finished.

I'll be buying it, I think. NOT FROM GAMEPLAY!

well daikatana is a game i have been looking forward to for a long time, since b4 i was online when i read about it in PCZ. apart from the multiplayer demo that came out 6months ago or so, there seems to have been fk-all news about it tho. except more inevitable 'slippage news' :/

tbh i think it wont being able to compete with the likes of q3a/ut in terms of online play; however i can see the single player game going on to be one of the best of year if it lives up to my expectations. it sounds as tho romero and co r being very ambitious with this aspect of the title, creating 4 diverse episodes with different monsters/weapons for each one. only time will tell i guess....

btw ne know the latest alleged release date?

According to www.release-dates.co.uk it's scheduled for March 2000.. but hey if it's out earlier that'll be cool - i've been waiting for this game for aaaaaaages.

well from what pc gamer said in the recent issue (the q3 cover one) it isnt that good. Infact the journo just slagged it off in the preview.

I'm not sure. I think its been in deveopment too long, but maybe it can save itself yet.

Personally I'm waiting for the next duke nukem installment. Those piccies had me drooling!

Diakatana will really have to be something to get anywhere. The technology is basically outdated now, and like TF2, its coming to the point where people will miss its release because they stopped waiting in anticipation..
