Probably a long shot but I've just started on eldar server & I'm loving it as a casual pve experience.

I.e log on, do some quests, log off kind of episode

It's my breather till aion sorts its fuckin life out.

lotro is questing all the way to cap lvl .. then it got boring ... 1 or 2 instances was it and do over and over .. unles you want to do creep vs ..... which never appealed .. the story is good but we got tot he end of it about 6 months before they went to moria and then it was damn what now so we left .. they have a lot of story to work with but dont move iton fast enough

I`m (still) playing Lotro on german servers though. Got a Loremaster, a Minstrel and a Hunter at 65 and some twinks in their 30ies or 40ies. It´s a pretty cool game with lots of stuff to do, but the DAoC spirit is lacking IMO.

I'm playing Lotro atm as well, on Evernight

Loving it for the same reasons as you Bugz, theres none of that frantic must get to level cap/uber kit race. Nice and relaxing, and gorgeous scenery to potter round, and the story is nice as well.
