Anyone managed a 5 point OC on a MP Lev 51 Crafted Item yet?

as long as gems are 99% or MP its fine

Yeah, I had one done so far.

37/32 overcharge, 3 gems - all 99%. Spellcrafter was 101x skill I believe.

yes its easy as long as like Jiggs says 99% gems MP is nice but increases the cost a large amount and no one in US has blown up any items yet using 99% gems

my entire set is lv 51 Mp all with 5pt overcharge.

I aimed for 99 qual gems.
If i got a 98 i would generally use if as long as there were no more that 2 98 qual gems

If i got a mp then I could add aother 98 qual gem

I had no failures.

all of it was 99% qual, all had a 5pt overcharge using 99% gems.

Hmm, it's weird how items don't seem to go boom at all

I had my MP set done yesterday with only 2-3 pt overcharges. I thought I'd rather be safe
Every gem was 99% one too...

Oh well, need to make new one anyway after SI gets here

That seems to be true i have overcharged 5 of my items 32/28 and none have blown up with others 31/28....

Merbos boomed a masterpiece bow with a 5-point overcharge, and at least one person for whom I made a masterpiece weapon subsequently blew it up.

Um a littl OT.. how much would it cost for lvl 50 bard instruments (Drum/Lute/FLute) to be crafted at 99% or 100%

And also how much can they be SC'd? same as a weapon of lvl 50?

Duskwood instruments are level 51 for spellcrafting purposes - masterpieces have 32 imbue points, 99% quality instruments have 28 imbue points.

As to how much they cost... how much have you got?

2.5 plat on Druid
1.9 plat on NS

So without being ripped off for 99% a rough idea

150-200g for 99% would be a fair price range, per instrument
1200-1600g for a MP

99% items are approx 8 times more likely in crafting (99% = 16.67% chance, MP = 2% chance), so a cost increase of factor 8 is reasonable.

Mind you, it's all supply and demand, and the pricing can be flexible.
