I want to start doing some (very 
) cheap video editing -- basically from VHS to comp/CD I think -- does anyone know much about video capture cards -- ie what sort of fram rated or resolutions I need for decent quality ---- Software Warehouse (OK Jungle but like Marathon/Snickers they will always be SW to old farts like me) have a Hauppage card for about 50 squids -- is this any good ? --- Ive got a decent graphics card so Im only really after a plain capture card.
