just wondering if anyone has already killed one of these. how many were you? any special tactics? did any of the listed goodies drop?

Uhm FP Leviathan is hard (hence the parasites). Killing it basicly is hard. I've seen 5 anis 3 durids get wipe on it. But well the initial tactics weren't that great.

Things to know about the leviathan:
1. Lots of hp
2. Zephyrs like crazy (also out of group chars)
3. Spawns alot of parasites when fighting him (they are aggro yellow/blue conc to lvl 50 and pops around the leviathan)

But if someone manage to kill him post here on how you did it

Kraken has a nasty dot but seems easier to kill than the Leviathan as it has been killed by some members of AR (correct me if i'm wrong)...

Was killed yesterday - ML1 raid stumbled acrros him and 50+ players just zerged him to death in about 3 minutes,.

killed kraken a few times. annoying mob, AE 100% nearsight, AE stun (long duration) AE nuke that hurts like a bitch... gl guys ^^ oh and zephyrs you like mad.. and like 5k units away

Leviathan is only day spawn and are you most likely gonna find him between Desmona and Skyrus isle.

As Tears said, we spanked him on ML1 raid, tbh I think solo/duo would be lucky, nearer an fg would be good - I do hope it takes that many, I for one would like to just see a beasty that doesn't get farmed 24/7.

I'm waiting for the 'I've duo'd him' response even before I've hit the post button

From what I hear 6 anis + support > kracken/leviathan, well this patch anyway.

Spend some time today on levi and got it's full patrol route if anyone needs it.

We did it with 4 ani's, bard, reg drood, 2 druid bb's + fop and a chanter. basically we just shroomed up a place we knew he was about to come by (had the bard stuck on the levi.) It FZ's a lot so as soon as you can move again you must sprint back to the shrooms so the levi doesn't move outside shroom range. Parasites aren't much of a problem. The main issue was to time the shrooming with the levi passing by, and then bringing it down before the shrooms dropped. (ani's had 25% spell duration but we still only managed to kill it.) Another 1 or 2 ani's would definatly make it easier. But we got a ring and 2x hearts from it so it wasn't so bad. We tried Kraken with a few other peoples but he just aoe nuked all the shrooms in seconds because Nearsight got screwed
