Ok... 10mil. I guess they're fucking around. Aren't the bidders legally obliged to pay though?

Try enforcing it. I can see the county court judge instructing the defendant to pay a sum of £1.20 every week for eternity.

/edit: lol someone bid 10mil, realised that they could be held accountable, and shit themselves. They've removed the bid :D

"This auction is not for a signed photograph of Ian Hislop."

Then what the hell is it for?

hehe

lol:

Dear ebay member, I see that you have bidded on the following ebay item -Signed Ian Hislop Photo - Item number: 2244484974. Why have you bidded such a ridiculously high price for this item?. Do u realise that by bidding ridiculous amounts of money that you are actually legally bound to pay that money to the seller. Any agreement you enter into with a seller on ebay forms a contract which is legally binding under the current British legal system. Also it is a charity auction - dont be so out of order !. How would you feel if someone messed around with one of your auctions?. All that they are trying to do is raise some finances for their school. I hope you reconsider your actions.

hahah the seller ended the auction and cancelled everything. Not like he would have made anything anyway, when you add in the ebay costs.

Rofl, I saw the episode last night it was hilarious as always. I couldn't contain my laughter when they showed the ebay picture. And what about that bloke from the Mirror? (The bit they showed from a previous episode) He was a right prick.
